Dancer job in Israel: dance in the Onelli live show
Female show dancers who learn choreography fast and can dance to live vocals, for weddings, parties and company events across Israel.
This dancer job in Israel is for female show dancers who’d rather dance with live singers than to a backing track. In the Onelli show, 2 to 6 dancers perform in the same numbers as our vocal trio. You’ll dance at weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, office parties and holiday events, anywhere in the country.
What is different about dancing to live vocals?
Live music breathes, so you dance with the singers rather than with a recording. A chorus may come around one more time because the room is loving it. An ending can stretch, and the tempo can sit slightly differently from the record. You learn the choreography to the song, and then you learn to listen.
The space changes too. One night it’s a big stage in an event hall, the next it’s a dance floor in a restaurant. The number of dancers also changes from event to event, so the formations change with it.
Then add low fog on the floor, confetti in the air and cold sparks at a safe distance. It’s easy to see why we look for dancers who stay calm and aware on stage.
Who are we looking for?
- experienced in show dance on a real stage
- quick to learn choreography and reliable at remembering it
- comfortable dancing to live songs and following the singers
- a team player in groups of 2 to 6
- available in the evenings and on weekends, and willing to travel across Israel
- 18 years or older
What do we offer?
A stage with a full production: live vocals, a DJ, sound, lighting and effects, all in one rehearsed show. You perform in the same numbers as the singers, which is still a new format. For a dancer, that makes this job different from most event work in Israel. Guests watch the dancers as closely as the singers.
Our own songs and music videos are another part of the work, and dancers can join those projects too. The music videos show the style, and the page on dancers for events shows the format from the client’s side. We talk about terms individually.
How to apply for the dancer job in Israel
The form below asks for your contact details, your city and your stage experience. Include links to videos or your Instagram profile. One clip of you performing on stage tells us more than a showreel. A video of you picking up and dancing a new combination is even better.
If your videos fit what we’re looking for, we’ll call you. Know a singer who should apply too? Send her the singer job listing. All open positions are on the Onelli careers page.
