Onelli Kablan Nadlan (קבלן נדל״ן): the official music video

The Onelli Kablan Nadlan video is the official clip for “Kablan Nadlan” (קבלן נדל״ן), our second original song in Hebrew. Just like “Alila,” we wrote it ourselves and filmed the video with our own team. Watch it above, and if you want it at your event, the trio will sing it live.

What does Kablan Nadlan mean?

Kablan nadlan means a real estate developer or contractor, the builder behind a new apartment building. Kablan is a contractor, and nadlan is real estate. You say it kab-LAN nad-LAN, with the stress at the end of each word.

On its own, kablan can mean any contractor, even a small renovation crew. Together, the two words point to the people who build and sell homes.

The double tick (״) in נדל״ן tells Hebrew readers that nadlan is an acronym. It comes from an old Aramaic legal phrase for property that doesn’t move, which is exactly what real estate is. In everyday Israeli speech nobody thinks about that. It’s simply the word for property.

Who filmed the Onelli Kablan Nadlan video?

The Onelli team, the same way we made “Alila.” Doing it ourselves means the song, the clip and the live version all come from the same people.

Writing songs and shooting clips is one of the two things we do differently from most event bands. The other is putting singers and dancers in one show. Both are explained on the page about the Onelli live show.

Can we book Onelli to sing “Kablan Nadlan” live?

Yes, it’s part of our live program. A real estate or construction company party is the obvious place for it, and we won’t pretend otherwise. It’s just as welcome at a wedding or a birthday, though.

Bring it up when we build your program, and we’ll fit it in between the familiar songs. There’s more on the trio’s repertoire on its own page.

The song can be part of the complete Onelli show or of any custom package that includes the trio. If you’re planning an office party or a launch, read how we handle corporate event entertainment.
