Dancers for events, performing in the same show as live singers

With Onelli, dancers for events are part of the live show. Between 2 and 6 dancers perform in the same numbers our three singers are singing, and the two groups rehearse together. Light and effects come in on cue. You choose how many dancers to bring when we plan the evening with you.

What’s different about dancing with live singers?

The singers and dancers share the same song. Usually, show dancers for events come from an agency and perform to a recorded track in a slot of their own. Then they clear the stage before the band comes back. Ours perform to the trio’s live vocals, in choreography made for our arrangements.

Guests see one show instead of a band that stops so the dancers can start. The light, the haze and the confetti follow the choreography, and the last pose lands on the last note. Putting singers and dancers into one rehearsed show is a new format for events.

What do the dancers perform?

Show numbers built on the songs the trio sings live. Because the choreography follows our own arrangements, the dance changes with the music: an Israeli hit looks different from a Russian party classic or an international pop song. We decide with you which songs get a dance number and where those numbers fall in the evening.

How many dancers do you need for your event?

Between 2 and 6, depending on the space, the number of guests and how big you want the show to feel. As a rough guide:

• 2 dancers suit a smaller room, a party at home or a stage with little floor in front of it.
• 4 dancers give a wedding or a bar mitzvah a proper show moment without crowding the stage.
• 6 dancers fill a large hall, or a company event where the show is the main act.

When do dancers for events make the most sense?

Any event with a dance floor and a moment worth building up to. At a wedding, the dance show fits into the dancing sets after the first dance. For a bar or bat mitzvah party, it can open the dancing right after the child’s entrance.

How much space do the dancers need?

That depends on how many you book. Six dancers need noticeably more floor than two, and the floor should be next to the singers or in front of them. It also needs to be clear and even, with no cables or chair legs in the way.

Send us a photo or a plan of the hall when you get in touch. We agree on the dance area with the venue before the event, along with the space for our sound and light gear.

Do I need the full show to book dancers?

No. Dancers can come without the rest of the show as a custom package. A DJ with dancers, for example, suits company parties well.
