An event DJ in Israel, working in one show with live singers
The DJ fills the gaps between the trio's live sets and takes the party on after the last one, with music for every language in the room.
What you get
-
Between live sets
The DJ picks up the moment the trio steps off, so the music keeps going.
-
After the last song
When the live part ends, the DJ carries the party through to the end of the night.
-
Music for a mixed room
Israeli hits, Russian party classics and international dance tracks, mixed for the people on the floor that night.
-
Your list comes first
Must-play songs, songs to skip and the music for your big moments, settled before the event.
-
In sync with the effects
Confetti, sparks and fog land on the moments the DJ builds up to.
An event DJ in Israel often has to keep three generations dancing, in two or three languages, on the same night. Ours does it as part of the Onelli show. The DJ plays between the trio’s live sets and carries the party after them. Everything runs to the same cue sheet as the singers, dancers and effects.
What does the DJ do during a live show?
Everything the trio doesn’t sing. That means background music while guests arrive, dance sets between the live blocks and the late party at the end. If you want a recorded track for an entrance or a family dance, the DJ plays that as well.
During dinner the music stays in the background, loud enough to fill the room and quiet enough to talk over. Speeches are part of the job too. The DJ brings the music down for each toast and hands over to the microphone. Once the speaker sits down, the energy goes back up.
How does an event DJ in Israel handle a mixed crowd?
By watching the room rather than following a fixed playlist. On one Israeli dance floor you can find grandparents who grew up on Soviet pop, cousins who only listen to Israeli radio and a table of colleagues from abroad. Our DJ moves between Israeli hits, Russian party classics and international dance music. Along the way, the DJ notices which table gets up for what.
At a bar or bat mitzvah the spread is even wider. The kids want this year’s hits, and the grandparents want the songs from their own weddings. The DJ has to get both onto the floor.
Company parties ask something else of an event DJ in Israel. Here the mix is about departments and ages as much as languages. People want to talk first and dance later, so the night starts with music for conversation and builds to the dance floor after the speeches.
You set the balance with us beforehand. Some families want a Russian set after dessert, while a tech company might want almost everything in English. We plan the outline together and adjust it as the night goes.
How do song requests work?
Send them before the event. The most useful thing is a short list of must-play songs. Add a list of songs to skip and the tracks for your big moments.
For those moments, send the exact version you want. A live recording and a remix of the same song can sound very different.
Guests will come up with requests during the party, too. The DJ fits them in when they suit the floor.
How does the DJ work with the trio and the effects?
Everyone follows one running order, which is the whole point of a DJ with live singers on the same team. The DJ knows when the trio is due back and keeps the floor warm for the first live song. Before a big moment, like the last chorus before the confetti, the DJ builds up the energy. The effect then lands on the beat.
That’s also why the sound system and the lights come from us. Music, lights and effects work from one plan, and nobody waits for a signal from another company. Read more about the effects we time to the music.
Can I book only the DJ for my event?
Yes, as a custom package. The DJ pairs well with the vocal trio, or with a party effects pack of confetti, bubbles and haze. For a birthday party at home, a DJ with sound, light and a couple of effects is often all you need. Build your own package from just those parts.

Questions before booking
Do we still need a DJ if we book live singers?
Yes, in most cases. Live sets come in blocks, and the DJ covers the breaks, the speeches and the late party, so the music runs from the first guest to the last.
Does the DJ play Russian music?
Yes. Russian party classics are part of the mix, next to Israeli and international hits, in the balance you set with us before the event.
Can guests request songs during the event?
Yes. The DJ fits requests in whenever they suit the dance floor.
Can we give the DJ a list of songs to avoid?
Yes, and it's worth doing. Songs on your skip list stay off all night, even if a guest asks for them.
Does the DJ bring equipment?
Yes, in the full show: the DJ plays through the sound system we bring and set up for your venue. For a custom package, tell us what the venue already has, and we'll plan the setup with you.
Is your date still free?
Popular dates get booked months ahead. Send us yours and we'll check.
