Onelli singer in low fog and soap bubbles

Special effects for weddings and events, timed to live music

We bring soap bubbles, cold sparks, low fog, stage haze and confetti. Each one fires on a cue in the music, and we clear it with your venue before the date.

What you get

  • Five effects

Bubbles, cold sparks or fireworks, low fog, stage haze and confetti, all part of the full show.

  • Fired on the beat

Each effect has a planned cue: the entrance, the first dance, a toast or the last chorus.

  • Cleared with the venue

We check with the hall what it allows, so you know in advance what's possible.

  • Safer sparks indoors

Cold-spark fountains give the fireworks look without an open flame.

  • One or all five

Take the whole set with the full show, or put single effects into a custom package.

Special effects for weddings work best when each one belongs to a moment. Soap bubbles go with the entrance, low fog with the first dance, and cold sparks and confetti with the last chorus. You get all five with the Onelli full show, and the team that runs the music fires them on cue.

They work just as well at bar and bat mitzvah parties, company events and birthdays, and the notes on each effect apply there too.

Which special effects suit which wedding moments?

Each effect has a moment where it looks its best. At an Israeli wedding they usually fall like this:

Effect What guests see Where it fits
Soap bubbles Bubbles drifting through the light Entrance, slow dance, kids’ corner, photos
Cold sparks Fountains of sparks with no open flame End of the first dance, the finale
Outdoor fireworks Fireworks in the night sky An outdoor finale, if the venue and the rules allow
Low fog A white layer of fog on the floor First dance
Stage haze A fine mist that shows every light beam Dancing sets, the dance show
Confetti One burst on a cue Entrance, a toast, the last chorus

Low fog for the first dance

Low fog is heavy white fog that stays close to the floor. It makes the couple look as if they’re dancing on a cloud.

It’s the classic first dance effect, and it photographs well because it stays low and leaves faces clear. Most smoke detectors don’t react to it, but we still clear it with the venue in advance.

Cold sparks and fireworks

Cold-spark fountains shoot sparks upward without an open flame, which makes them much safer indoors than traditional pyrotechnics. At the end of the first dance, fountains on either side of the couple make the photo of the night. They still need the venue’s approval and a safe distance from guests. Real fireworks are for outdoor events only, and only where the venue and the local rules allow them.

Stage haze

Haze is a fine mist that hangs in the air. On its own you barely notice it. Under moving lights, though, it turns every beam into a visible shape, and the dance floor starts to look like a concert stage. Haze can set off some smoke detectors, so we coordinate it with the venue before the event.

Confetti

Confetti goes off on a cue: the couple’s entrance, a toast, or the last chorus of a big song. One well-timed burst does more than several random ones, and it gives the photographer something to aim for. Some venues have cleaning rules for confetti, so we check them before we put it in the plan.

Soap bubbles

Bubbles are the gentlest effect on the list, and the one the kids chase. Use them for the entrance, a slow dance, a kids’ corner or photos with the light behind you. Indoors, tell us about the floor, because bubbles land and some floors get slippery.

Which special effects work at an outdoor wedding?

Most of them, but the wind decides a lot. Low fog and haze drift away in a breeze, so they work best in a sheltered spot or on a calm evening. Bubbles love the open air. This is also where fireworks become possible, with the venue’s approval and within local rules.

Confetti outside needs the venue’s blessing too, since someone has to clear it off the lawn. We look at the site plan with you and choose the effects that suit it.

Are special effects for weddings safe indoors?

Yes, when each effect suits the room and the venue has signed off on it. Most of the safety work happens before the date. We ask about ceiling height, smoke detectors and the floor, and we choose effects that fit.

During the event, we keep a safe distance between the sparks and the guests. At family events that means keeping children well back from the fountains, however curious they are.

If a venue says no to an effect, we suggest a different one for that moment. Bubbles can replace confetti, for example, and low fog works fine without sparks.

How are the effects timed to the music?

On cues we plan with you and rehearse with the singers and dancers. One team runs the music and the effects. That’s why the confetti fires on the last chorus, not a few seconds after it. The DJ builds toward the moment, the trio hits the final line, and the effect lands with it.

The stage lighting follows the same plan, so the beams and the haze change with the music too.

Which effects work well together?

Some pairs are classics. Low fog and cold sparks belong to the first dance, and haze and moving light belong to the dance floor. Confetti and sparks together make the finale everyone films on their phone. Bubbles go with anything gentle, like an entrance, a slow song or the kids’ corner.

Two effects at the same moment are usually plenty. Add a third and the photos start to look busy.

How many effects does one wedding need?

Fewer than you’d think. Three or four well-placed moments look bigger than effects going off all night. Guests remember the fog rolling in under the couple. Nobody counts how many times the confetti went off.

Can I book special effects for my wedding without the full show?

Yes. You can book effects on their own as a custom package, and the show builder has two ready scenes for them. “First dance” combines low fog, cold sparks and bubbles with lighting. “Party effects” adds confetti, bubbles and haze to a DJ with sound and light.

You can also pick single effects. The full show includes all five along with the trio, DJ, dancers, and photo and video. It costs from ₪10,000 plus travel. For the rest of the evening, see how we run a whole wedding.

Questions before booking

Will low fog set off the smoke detectors?

Usually not. Most smoke detectors don't react to low fog, but we always clear it with the venue before the event.

Can we have real fireworks at our wedding?

At an outdoor wedding, yes, if the venue and the rules permit it. Indoors we use cold-spark fountains, which give a similar look without an open flame.

Does every venue allow confetti?

No. Some venues have cleaning rules, so we check them before the event. If confetti is out, bubbles or cold sparks can mark the same moment.

Which effect is best for the first dance?

Low fog. It covers the floor around the couple and keeps faces clear for the photos. The "First dance" scene in our builder adds cold sparks and bubbles to it.

Are all five effects included in the full show?

Yes: soap bubbles, cold sparks or outdoor fireworks, low fog, stage haze and confetti. You can also order any of them separately as a custom package.

Can effects be used at a bar or bat mitzvah?

Yes. Bubbles and confetti suit the entrance of the bar or bat mitzvah child, and cold sparks make a strong finish. The venue checks are the same as for a wedding.

Is your date still free?
